AIRBORNE TELEMETRY
Airtec operates a King Air A100 Airborne Telemetry Aircraft employing a 360 degree, dual circularly polarized, belly-mounted auto tracking antenna for either the L or S bands. On-board equipment can include: receivers, diversity combiners, bit syncs, demodulators, multi-couplers, and recorders to support up to six up-link data sources.
Up to two L-band or two S-band downlink re-transmissions are available at 10-50 watts.
In-flight data management is performed by up to three non-pilot crewmembers utilizing multiple oscilloscopes and spectrum analysis equipment.
